Mary Franklin

Mary Louise (Callaghan) Franklin, 93 of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, August. 24, 2022 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  She was born June 6, 1929 in Monaca a daughter of the late Dr. Max and Alice I. (Harvey) Callaghan.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Hubert J. Franklin Jr.; two daughters, Barbara Alice Franklin and Joan Marie Spinella; a sister Ann Schaefer; and brothers, James E. And Thomas (Mary Jane) Callaghan.

Mary Louise is survived by her loving family; a daughter, Janis E. Franklin, CSJ; two sons, Mark (Eileen) and Dann (Jeanne) Franklin; a son-in-law D.J. Spinella; brothers, Max (Helen) and Jerome (Barbara) Callaghan; a sister, Judy Callaghan; sisters-in-laws, Mary Ann Samuels and Dorie Franklin; four grandchildren, Stephen, Kelly, Hannah, and Michael; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, from 5-7 p.m. in the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, Inc. 524 N. Main St., Greensburg.  Additional visitation will take place on Monday, Aug 29th  in St. Frances Cabrini Parish 115 Trinity Dr., Aliquippa,  from  10-11 a.m. at which time a funeral mass will be celebrated with Fr. Joachim Morgan, OSB as Celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Monaca.  Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church on Monday. Please express your love with memorial gifts to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Baden, 1020 W State St, Baden, PA 15005.
