Lois Ross

Lois A. Ross, 88 of Derry passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022.  She was born July 21, 1933 in Greensburg a daughter of the late George and Laura (Smith) Roach.

Lois had been employed at Westmoreland Hospital in the Housekeeping and Radiology departments.  She was a member of St. Bruno’s R.C. Church, Greensburg.  Lois loved country music and developed a fondness for her feline friend, Jeannette.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry A. Bortz and her husband Robert; her granddaughter, Erin Reola-Bortz and her wife Ashley Reola-Bortz, her grandson, Matthew Bortz and cousins, Patricia Murphy, Geraldine DeMarchi and Susan Branthoover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence F. Roach.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St, Greensburg where Prayers of Transfer will be recited on Monday at 9:15 am followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 am in St. Bruno’s RC Church.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.  Online condolences are welcome at www.kepplegraft.com
