Joseph Rollins

Joseph H. “Joe” Rollins, 80 of Greensburg passed away, Wednesday, December 22, 2021.  Joe was born May 5, 1941 in Marguerite a son of the late Marguerite (Pollard) and Roy Rollins.

Joe had been employed as administrative assistant to the superintendent of the State Correctional Institution, Somerset.  He enjoyed golfing in his spare time and was a veteran of the US Army.  Joe formerly served as a board member for Adelphoi Village and the Westmoreland County Housing Authority.  Currently, was a member of the board at Alternative Living Solutions.  Joe’s endearing personality allowed him to form instant friendships. His presence and personality were massive. It was this quality which allowed him to help mentor and shape many lives both personally and professionally.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, loyal friend and cherished neighbor.

He is survived by his loving wife, Constance L. “Connie” (Szaflarski) Rollins, three sisters, Ethel Crunkleton, Madeline Rollins and Kathleen Rollins, a brother, Ronald Rollins (Illa) and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Rollins.
