Edward J. Giron, 78 of Greensburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

He was born November 28, 1943 in Greensburg, a son of the late Edward J. Giron and Anna (Skapura) Giron Harmon.

Ed was a 1962 graduate of Hempfield High School. He then enlisted and served in the Air Force as a transportation squadron representative from 1962 to 1966 during the Vietnam War.  He was first stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana. From there he went to Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska until his Honorable Discharge and having achieved the rank of Sergeant.

In 1984 he joined Leaseway Express.  Late in 1985, Ed started Ed Giron Painting and Carpentry, and never looked back.  He painted and provided carpentry services in Greensburg and the surrounding suburbs up until his retirement on the last day of 2010.

Ed was blessed with four grandkids that gave him joy and stories to tell.

He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and caring for his lawn— keeping it as pristine as a golf course.
