Betsy Jean Rugh, 93 of Greensburg, passed away, Monday, November 8, 2021 at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg.
She was born January 13, 1928 in North Versailles Township, a daughter of the late Frank Edward Lorentz and Annie (Orr) Lorentz.
Betsy is survived by her three daughters, Suzanne Mulrooney and husband, Bob, Karen Shaler and husband, Rob, and Melinda Gavarkavich husband, John; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Ann Hallum.
She was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church, Greensburg and Greensburg Garden Club. Formerly of Florida, she volunteered in the local literacy programs teaching people how to read. Prior to retirement, she along with her late husband, Jake Rugh was part-owner of Keystone Lumber and Realty in Greensburg. The family wishes to thank the staff of Redstone Hospice and everyone at Redstone Highlands for their kind care and support.
Services for Betsy will be private.
