Bernice Smith

Bernice M. Smith, 94, of Latrobe, died, Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in Latrobe Hospital.  She was born in Chickasaw, PA on April 12, 1928, a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Kane McKay.  She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church.   Bernice was a loving mother and her family was the most important thing to her.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Smith and her sister, Lorraine Brauers.  She is survived by her 3 daughters, Janet Comunale (John), Elaine Murtha (Regis) and Judy Raishart (Carl); her grandchildren, Brian Metts, Jonathan Metts, Kevin Lewis (Jenna) and Robert Lewis (Mallory); her great grandchildren, Benjamin and Maren Lewis; also, a nephew, James Brauers and niece, Nancy Jack.  Family and friends will be received on Friday, May, 27, 2022, from 5 to 8 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.  Bernice’s funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, 1001 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg 15601.  Everyone is asked to go directly to the church.  Entombment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Our Lady of Grace Church at the above address.  For online condolences please visit www.kepplegraft.com
