Virginia Strobeck

February 25, 1934 — July 7, 2017

Virginia R. Strobeck, 83 of Greensburg, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at Greensburg Care Center.

She was born February 25, 1934 in Jeannette the daughter of the late Hazel J. (Soles) and Charles F. Neiderhiser Sr.

Virginia was a member Saint Matthias Evangelical Lutheran Church where she served in many church organizations and was the parish secretary.

She was active in the S.W.P.A. Snydocial Women's Organization ELCA in various positions. Virginia also enjoyed reading and needlework.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W, Strobeck, a brother, Roy E. Neiderhiser and a sister-in-law Lida Neiderhiser .

Surviving are her brothers, Charles F. Neiderhiser Jr. and Paul R. Neiderhiser (Gladys); sister-in-law, Gerry C. Neiderhiser; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Virginia's family would like to extend their thanks to the Greensburg Care Center and to the Grane Hospice for their compassionate care.

Family and friends will be received  on Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30am at St. Matthias Evangelical Lutheran Church. (Everyone please go directly to the church).

Interment will follow in the Jeannette Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Saint Matthias Evangelical Lutheran Church 100 Chapel View Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601.
