Steven D. King

Steven D. King, 62, of Greensburg PA, passed away on May 24, 2026 at home. He was born January 14, 1964 in Greensburg, son of the late Charles H. King and Susan L. King. He is survived by his two children who he adored: Aden D. King and Carlie A. King of Maine, and by his sister, Jennifer (King) Wilson and husband, Randy of NC, and sister, Michelle (King) Cushey and husband, Karl of TN, four nieces, Sarah, Julia, Naomi and Melody and two nephews, Austin and Joey.

Steve spent many years living outside of the area, Maine and Virginia, but returned to Greensburg in recent years. He enjoyed the quiet life, sitting outside, listening to birds, and simply reflecting on his children and family. He will be remembered by his sisters for all his childhood antics, his big blue eyes, and his charming laugh. The memories we shared at family reunions, around the campfire and at gatherings where he cooked for us will live on in our hearts.

The family will hold a private celebration of Steven’s life in honor of his quiet compassion and love of his community. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army.
