Saundra Jean Rasefske, 84, of Greensburg, formerly of Ridgway and Belle Vernon, died, Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Redstone Highlands. She was born July 7, 1941, in Washington, PA, a daughter of the late William Lewis Bishop, Jr. and Helen Marie Pasterchalk Bishop. Saundra was Catholic by faith. She was a graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and attended a technical school for her associate degree in business skills. Prior to retirement, Saundra was employed as a bank teller for Penn Bank, Ridgeway. She was a member and participated in local clubs over the years including, New Neighbors of Greensburg, where she was past seated president, Classy Ladies, Red Hat Society and the West Penn Retirees Club. Saundra enjoyed visiting her grandchildren, participating in various civic groups, concerts, collecting whimsical rabbit statues and figurines, gardening and shopping. Sandy had a deep belief in altruism and found joy in giving. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Joseph Andrew Rasefske; and her sister Carol Porco. Saundra is survived by her sons, Robert Rasefske (Mary), Brian Rasefske (Karen) and Jason Rasefske (Misty); her brother, William Bishop; also, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received from 4 pm until Saundra’s liturgy outside of mass at 6pm on Thursday, May 14, 2026, in Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.
