Sarah Lamont

Sarah J. Lamont, 80 of Delmont, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at William Penn Care Center.  She was born October 3, 1935 in Butler, a daughter of the late Rev. Thomas and Jane (Wilkie) Lamont.  Sarah was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Greensburg.  Prior to retirement, she worked as a Secondary School Teacher for Penn Hills and Franklin Regional School Districts.  Sarah was a former member of Delmont Borough Council and a former board member of Redstone Highlands.  She also was a member of Greensburg Country and the club's Women's Golf Association.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Lamont.  Surviving are her son, Douglas R. Lamont (Kris) of Mars, daughter, Liane A.
