Sally Catherine Waugaman, 80, of Youngwood, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
She was born August 30, 1945 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Barber) Kistner. Silly Sally was funny. Each family member had a nickname and had fun. She baked unique cakes for everyone. Sally hosted Halloween parties and created haunted houses that all enjoyed, especially the scavenger hunt with a candle. She, along with her family would entertain the residents of Westmoreland Manor monthly. They would wear themed outfits that Sally made for most of them.
Sally sewed a lot and made clothes for everyone. She worked as a secretary and a seamstress for Waugaman Awning Company. Sally also volunteered at the St.Vincent DePaul.
Sally enjoyed traveling. She was a member of the Coachman Traveler Club. Every other weekend was a different campground. She loved going on hunting trips with Charles to Newfoundland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Campbell; second husband, Charles Waugaman, Sr.; son, Brian Campbell; brother, Thomas Kistner; and sisters, Aleene Dinatti, Patricia Anderson and Esther Beehner.
Surviving are her daughter, Sherry C. Samulski (Leon); stepsons, Charles Waugaman, Jr. (Evelyn), James Waugaman (Judy), Clint Waugaman, and Kirk Waugaman; siblings, Helen 'Cookie" Aston, Shirley Mattey, Anthony Kistner (Penny); Robert Kistner (Edna);and Virginia Detore; a number of grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg where Prayers of Transfer will be said on Monday at 9:30 am followed by her funeral Mass at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church 1011 Mt Pleasant Rd, Greensburg, PA 15601 with Fr. Ken Zaccagini as celebrant.
Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society 126 S Main St. Greensburg, PA 15601
