Ruth (Keener) Magnuson died on Sunday, January 3, 2021 in Charleston, SC. She was born January 28, 1923 in Chattanooga TN, the daughter of the late Verner Keener and Delia (Holbert) Keener. She was predeceased by her loving husband, George; and sisters, Frances Rowell (Les) and Jean Dillon (Red). She is survived by her children, Pam Williams (Lysle) of Greensburg, Connie Johnson of Lake Holiday, IL, and Ron Magnuson (Charlene) of Charleston, SC; ten grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. Ruth was employed at Jeannette District Memorial Hospital and as manager at Greensburg X-ray Associates until her retirement. She was famous for her excellent record keeping and organizational skills. Ruth proudly served as the family genealogist. She served as President for the Greensburg Chapter  Progressive Women’s Club. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and playing bridge. Ruth belonged to several card clubs. She was a resident of Redstone Highlands before moving to Summit Place in Daniel Island, SC last year. Ruth was a longtime member of Westminister Presbyterian Church. She will be missed by her family and many friends. KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home will be handling the private interment at Westmoreland County Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
