Roxanne J. Rose

Roxanne J. Rose of Ligonier passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her home on December 28th. She was 67 years old. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Carl, and her parents Robert and Bertha Johns. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jennie (Joshua) Denton, Kurt (Nikki) Rose, and Kevin (Savanna Mitchell) Rose; a sister, Susan (Bernie) Sherry; a brother, Randy Johns; a niece, Bekki (Josh) Reese; a nephew, Michael (Erin) Sherry; and five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Rose, Addie Rose, James Denton, Jackson Denton, and Harrison Rose.

She was a recent retiree from Ligonier Valley School District and an active member of the Darlington Volunteer Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary. She spent her days taking good care of all of her people, watching her backyard wildlife, and being the best Nana to her grandchildren that she loved so dearly.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in her name to the Darlington Volunteer Fire Department. A celebration of life will be held at the Darlington Firehall on January 10th at Noon for all wishing to attend. Arrangements are in the care of the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC., Greensburg.
