Ronald G. Korber

Ronald G. Korber, 83, of Greensburg, formerly of Yukon, died Saturday, December 20th, 2025. He was born May 5th, 1942 in Greensburg, a son of the late Nicholas and Frances (Masterlee) Korber. Ron was retired from the Nuclear Services Division of Westinghouse Waltz Mill, where he worked for 35 years. He served in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1965 in Patrol Squadron 11 (VP 11). He always spoke fondly of his time flying P2V Neptunes over Cuba and 41 other countries. Ron was also a member of the SNPJ Lodge in Yukon, Hecla Sportsman’s Club, and was an accomplished trap shooter and an avid hunter. Ron will be missed for his quick wit and unique sense of humor.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Paula (Kellner) of 58 years, his daughter Kelly Weimer (Jonathan Weimer), his sister Janice Yanosky (Donald Yanosky), and four nieces.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, December 23rd from 10 am until the hour of Ron’s military service at 11 am, accorded by members of Greensburg VFW Post 33, in Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.
