Roger J. Ruisi, 77, of Greensburg, died, Friday, December 22, 2023. He was born, March 1, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, a son of the late Roger R. Ruisi and Adele Casazza. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg. Prior to retirement, Roger worked in engineering services for Bay Pines VA Healthcare System for 37 years. He was a Navy veteran and served during Vietnam. On Wednesdays, along with his sister, Joyce, he volunteered at Christian Layman Thrift Store. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Herm Chmel. Roger is survived by his sister, Joyce Chmel; niece, Nicole Brown Chmel; great nephews, Emilio and Marcello Chmel. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 4 to 7 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. A liturgy outside of mass will be held for Roger in the funeral home on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 11 am. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn New York. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, st.jude.org. For online condolences, please visit www.kepplegraft.com.
