Riley Marie Hirst, 23 of Greensburg, passed away suddenly Thursday, February 26, 2026. She was born in Greensburg on January 11, 2003 a daughter of Sean and Brandie (Gaydar) Hirst.

Riley was a 2021 graduate of Greensburg Salem High School where she was a member of the band and served as a section leader. She was also a member and captain of the lacrosse team. She attended WVU and most recently had been employed by Eat n Park, Greensburg. Previously she was employed as a corrections officer at the Westmoreland County Prison. Riley was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg. She was musically inclined and a self-taught musician with the ability to play multiple instruments. In her spare time, she enjoyed weight lifting, painting, and drawing. A creative cook and baker she was never afraid to try a new recipe.

Riley will be missed by her loving parents, Sean and Brandie; her siblings, Jordan and Nevaeh Hirst; niece, Calliegh and nephew, Jaxon; her grandparents, Mary Lou Berry and Antoinette Hirst. Also surviving are a number of aunts, uncles and cousins, including Ron Gaydar, Scott Hirst (Diane) and daughter Sydney.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Josephine and her grandparents, Ronald and Martha Gaydar, Robert Hirst and David Berry, and her significant other, Dravyn John.

Riley’s family will receive friends on Saturday, Mar 7 from 10 am until 11 am in the First Methodist Church, 15 E. Second St. Greensburg, PA where a memorial service will be held at 11 am with her pastor, Rev. Clint Phillips. For online condolences please visit www.kepplegraft.com.
