Richard ‘Merle’ Bailey Sr, age 84 of Unity Township, died Sunday, March 19th 2017.
He was born January 12, 1933 in Swissvale.
Merle was preceded in death by his younger brother, Wayne (1989), loving wife, Beverley (1994), father, Grant (1998), mother Gertrude (2002) and very dear and close friend, Alice (2008).
Merle is survived by his daughter, Denise L. Midkiff; his son, John E. Bailey (Butch); his son, Richard Merle Bailey Jr. (Red); daughter-in-law Susan A. Kral Bailey; his triplet grandchildren, Rachel M. Bailey, Jacob R. Bailey, and Derek T. Bailey; his older brother, Grant Bailey and wife, Sandy and daughters; his sister, Marian Ravine and husband, Rocky and children; his business partner and brother-in-law, Earl Seitz and wife, Sandy and children; and various cousins, nieces, and nephews.
As per Merle’s wishes there will be no viewing or funeral service. Merle will be cremated and his remains will be given to his family.
