Mary Smail
August 8, 1943 — September 28, 2017
Mary K. Smail, 74 of Greensburg, beloved companion, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017 in Excela Westmoreland Hospital following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 8, 1943 in New Stanton a daughter of the late Billy E. and Mary Frances (Wilhelm) Markle.
Mary was a homemaker and was a former president of the Moose Club Chapter 2401 and a woman of the Moose Club in Irwin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Smail, Sr; her son, Donald L. Smail, Jr and a sister, Judy Coleman.
She is survived by her companion of 28 years, Dean McKeel, her daughters, Sherry L. Myers; Gail Shock (Tom); Allison Kring (Ron); Donna Robinson (Bob); and Audrey Boehme (John); several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; her brothers, Larry Markle (Fran) and Bobby Markle and several nieces and nephews, as well as, relatives of the Smail family.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 1-5 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St. Greensburg where her funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:30 am with Rev.
