Mark W. Seeno, 67, passed away on Friday evening May 12th at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Mark suffered a spinal cord injury after a fall at his home. Surgery to correct the injury was unsuccessful. Mark lived in Greensburg his entire life and was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School, class of 1973. In his late teens Mark was diagnosed with schizophrenia and battled the disease for the rest of his life. Despite this hardship, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting wildlife prints, as well as interacting with family, old friends and new acquaintances. He was a prolific diarist and letter writer who enjoyed keeping in touch with his family and friends. Occasionally he could be ornery, but he was a good hearted soul and loved people. Mark was a charter member of Maplewood United Presbyterian Church and very proud of it. He was an employee of Shop 'n Save for many years. He also enjoyed many years as a member of the Greensburg Sportsman Association. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Mary (nee Zambano). He is survived by his sisters, Ellen Regan, Constance and husband, Richard Metzler, of Jensen Beach, Fl.; his brothers, Jack and wife, Nancy of Hamden, Ct, and Anson, currently traveling the world. He also leaves behind his loving partner, Diane Hart and her cat, Mark’s love, Mr. Boots. He also had nieces, a nephew and many cousins who cared about him. Many thanks to the staff at Excela Behavioral Health and UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Special thanks to Reverend Lasor at Maplewood Presbyterian Church for his kind spirit and guidance.
