Marjorie C. Trumbetta

Marjorie C. Trumbetta, 96 of Jeannette, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025. She was born October 29, 1928, in Youngwood, a daughter of the late Lloyd K. and Mary (Hill) Connor.

Marjorie was a Registered Nurse and graduate of Allegheny Hospital School of Nursing. She then earned her BSN from Penn State University. Her career in healthcare was full of dedication and service having been employed as a registered nurse at Westmoreland Hospital, Magee Women’s Hospital, St. Clair Hospital in New Jersey, Latrobe Home Health Services and Oak Hill Nursing Home. Marjorie was a member of First United Methodist Church, Greensburg where she was a member of the church choir and bell choir. She belonged to a book club and enjoyed bowling and Silver Sneakers.

She is survived by her children, Susan L. Trumbetta (Rev. David Montanye) of New York, Robert V. Trumbetta (Martha) of Virginia, Donald M. Trumbetta (Ruth) of Hempfield Township and Mary L. Trumbetta (Mark Piccolino) of Jeannette and a grandson, Thomas E. Trumbetta of Hempfield Township.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel A. Trumbetta, her son, Thomas L. Trumbetta and her sister, Dorothy Einsporn.

A private family service will be held followed by inurnment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. The family suggests memorials to the Jeannette Public Library 500 Magee Ave, Jeannette, PA 15644, First United Methodist Church 15 E. 2nd St., Greensburg, PA 15601 or The Westmoreland Food Bank 100 Devonshire Dr. Delmont, PA 15262.
