Marjorie Matusak

Marjorie A. 'Margie' Matusak, 93 of Greensburg, passed away peacefully in her bed with her faithful feline companion, Simmy, by her side.

Margie was born December 6, 1928 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late C. Richard Kemp and Millicent E. (Blystone) Kemp. She found pleasure in tending to her home, all things nature, catching up on celebrity news, enjoying snacks and watching Little House on the Prairie. She will always be lovingly remembered for her quick wit and Scrabble skills.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip G. Matusak.

Surviving are her daughter, Shoshana; and sons, Richard Michael 'Mick' and Thomas Edward 'Tom'; granddaughter, Sara Tamar; great-grandsons, Avishai Meir and Micah Edward.

Per Margie's wishes services and interment will be held privately in Greensburg Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105  or the Humane Society of Westmoreland County PO Box 1552 Greensburg, PA 15601.
