Marjorie Geary

Marjorie C. Geary, 95  of New Stanton, passed away, Monday, February 5, 2018 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital.

She was born March 20, 1922  in Greensburg a daughter of the late, Geneva (Timblin) and Frank Carroll.

Marjorie was a former member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Eastern Star in Irwin.

Prior to retirement,  she was a community coordinator for the Westmoreland County Office of Aging.

She enjoyed playing bridge, camping, boating, and raising her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Joseph W. Geary; a son, Wesley David Geary; and three brothers, David, Frank, and Thomas Carroll. She was the last member of her immediate family.

Surviving are her children, Carroll L. and husband, Carl Wagus, Susan E. and husband, Larry Smith,  Stephen D. Geary and wife, Kathleen; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg.

Services will be held on Friday at 10am in the funeral home.

Entombment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.
