Margaret Rotthoff

Margaret “Margie” Rotthoff, 81, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away June 3, 2018. She was born January 4, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA. She moved to Florida in 1990. Margie retired from JCPenney Department Store after 18½ years in the Regional Office.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Punta Gorda, FL.  Margie was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, traveling and helping others in need. Margie is survived by her husband and best friend of 34 years Allyn Rotthoff; sons, Barry (Jill) Gaetano of Greensburg, Robert (Karen) of Pittsburgh, Allyn (Sandy) Rotthoff of Pittsburgh, Christopher (Angela) of Loganville, GA; daughter, Mary (Richard) Bean of Pittsburgh; and a brother, Fred (Carol) Schwarz of Washington, PA and granddaughters Allie, Molly, Katheryn, Shannon, Erin and Morgan.  She was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Catherine (Haberland) Schwarz.  There will be a family and friends gathering on June 16, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Thomas A ‘Becket Catholic Church at 139 Gill Hall Road, Jefferson Hills, PA  15025.  A memorial mass will follow at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society 510 Pellis Road Suite 203, Greensburg, PA 15601.
