Margaret B. Bennett, 97, of Greensburg, passed away, December 5, 2017 at Nature Park Commons, Greensburg. She was born October 18, 1920 in Greensburg a daughter of the late Charles Judson and Elsie (Mathieson) Billups.
Margaret was a caring homemaker and had also been a school teacher in the Hempfield and Jeannette School Districts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Bennett, Sr.; son, James R. Bennett, Jr; and an infant brother.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Dolan and her husband, Edward Dolan, Jr. of Newton, MA; a daughter in law, Jacqueline Bennett of Lakewood, IL; grandchildren, Edward J. Dolan, III; Jennifer M. Dolan; Sarah Bennett Kirk and Rachel Bennett; great-grandchildren, Kristian Chisholm, Riley Dolan, Lily Dolan and Aoife Kirk, and a sister, Dorothy Hiles of Franklin, NC.
