Margaret B. Anderson, 94 of Greensburg died Monday, September 4, 2017.

She was born in Brinkerton, PA a daughter of the late George and Emily (Madrick) Beckage.

Prior to retirement, she was employed by Sears.  She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greensburg. She was a member of the Hope Circle, A.A.R.P, ELCA, Flower Fund, and former communicate for shut in’s and Barnes & Nobles Book Club. Margaret was a graduate of Hurst High School Class of 1942.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, George who was first brother, father, and best friend she ever had; sisters Anna Beckage, Martha Basara (Rada), Stella Cekorich (Nick), Mary Repko (George), Louella Battistone (Victor); her husband, Warren A. Anderson on April 5, 2011 and her special son, John W. Anderson on June 26, 2013.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Paula Anderson; her grandson, John Matthew Anderson and his wife, Megan and three special great grandsons, Evan Matthew, Liam Craig, and John Maverick Anderson; two adopted grandsons, Zachary and Joshua Ligus who are children of her extended family, Edward and Stacy Ligus; a special niece, Evelyn Cekorich and George and Carol Basara, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews; her special friends, Pastor Brian B. Chaffee and his wife, Lisa. A great many thanks to all her neighbors and friends.





Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.

Additional visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30am until the time of service at 10am in Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 140 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Greensburg with the Rev. Brian B. Chaffee officiating.

Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
