Louise Smith

Louise Tamar Smith, 88, of Greensburg, died, Sunday, January 4, 2026 at her home. She was born in Pittsburgh on March 17, 1937, a daughter of the late Paul Jones Moore and Helena Eleanor Seitz Moore. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, Greensburg. Prior to retirement, she was employed as an elementary school teacher in the Penn Hills School District. Louise enjoyed quilting, sewing, baking, canning, reading and doing puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Paul Smith; her son, Barry Kenneth Smith; her grandson, Zachary Scott Smith; sister, Eleanor Owens and her husband, Richard; her brother Paul Moore and his wife Margie. Louise is survived by her children, Tamara M. Kaefer and Steven P Smith; her grandchildren, Brandon Paul McCurdy-Smith and Bridget Louise Kaefer; her great grandchildren, James Paul Kaefer and Ella Quinn Gagean; her unborn great granddaughter, Kinzley Mae Gagean; also, several nieces and nephews.
