Linda Hensel

Linda Ann (Gressman) Hensel, 75, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, following a yearlong illness. Linda is survived by her husband, Frederick, of Greensburg; sons, William, of Greensburg, and Mark (Sandy Klimkowski), of Twinsburg, Ohio; stepdaughter, Debra (Hensel) Houghton, of California; grandchildren, Athena (Nicolai) Cairo, of Richmond, Va., William, Caitlin, and Rachael, of Greensburg, and Andrew and Henry, of Twinsburg, Ohio; and  sisters, Marilyn Newcomer,  Karen Stapchuk (Martin), and Wendy Gressman. Linda was active in the First United Methodist Church for more than 40 years, most recently serving on the Altar Guild, and for more than 20 years was president of the United Methodist Women. She also served on the Greensburg -Salem School Board for several years. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at First United Methodist Church, with a luncheon to follow.
