It is with heavy hearts that the Bader family announce the passing of Linda Lee Bader, age 65.  On April 6, 2023, Linda passed away peacefully at her home in Kihei, HI surrounded by family after her long battle with pancreatic cancer.  The family would like to acknowledge Maui Hospice for their care and services provided. 

Linda Lee Snyder was born on March 4, 1958 in Greensburg, PA to Shirley and Frank Snyder.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Breeze of Red Onion, PA and her father, Frank Snyder of Greensburg, PA.  She is survived by her stepfather, Fred Breeze of Red Onion, PA.  

Linda is also survived by her husband, Daniel Bader of Kihei, HI.  She is survived by her children, Tonya (Jay) Grabiak of Greensburg, PA, Lori (David) Depetris of Latrobe, PA, Gregory Bader of Export, PA, Ryan Bader of Monongahela, PA and Jacqueline (Robert) Johnson of Vail, AZ.  She is survived by eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.  

Linda is survived by her siblings, Brenda Raffinello of Palm Bay, FL, Sherry Schafer of Greensburg, PA, Melanie (Nathan) Smail of Derry, PA, Leah Snyder of Irwin, PA, Greta Buffmeyer of Pittsburgh, PA, Frank (Mary) Snyder Jr. of Greensburg, PA, Curt Snyder of Greensburg, PA, Gregg Snyder of Trafford, PA, Wade Snyder of Greensburg, PA, and Chad (Brittani) Snyder of New Stanton, PA. She is preceded in death by her brother, Justin Snyder. She is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Linda was employed at Latrobe Area Hospital for over twenty years before she was co-owner and operated the Picnic Basket Restaurant in Youngstown, PA.  After her relocation to Maui in 2006, Linda worked at the Maui Prince Resort, Maui Tacos and Hawaiian Moons.  

Linda touched many hearts along her journey of life and those times and memories will never be forgotten.  Her smile, generosity, thinking of others, and her love and Aloha made a profound impression and impact on her friends and family.  She truly loved living on Maui, going to the beach, golfing, cooking and sunsets.  She cherished and loved her family and friends and will be missed by all.  Linda was an angel on earth as she now is in heaven. 

Family and friends will be received Friday May 19th from 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.  Services will be held at the Westmoreland County Memorial Park inside the indoor Chapel on Saturday May 20th at 10am, Interment and a celebration of life will follow for close family and friends. 

A celebration of life for Linda Lee Bader will be held on Maui in Kihei at a later date for her Ohana of Hawaii.  

Donations can be made to the Mana’olana Pink Paddlers Cancer Organization of Maui or to the Pacific Cancer Foundation to in lieu of flowers.
