Lawrence E. Heckman

Lawrence E. 'Larry' Heckman, 83 of Greensburg, passed away, Monday, December 15, 2025. He was born July 5, 1942 in Apollo, a son of the late Chalmer E. and Florence (Zimmerman) Heckman. Larry had attended Grace Baptist Church. Larry was a member of the American Legion Post 18 in Slickville. He was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. Larry was a lifelong Pirates fan. He loved canning food at home. Prior to retirement, he worked as an electrician and was a member of IBEW Local Union 5, Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son; his sister, Esther Kiebler; and brother, Howard Heckman. Surviving are his wife of nearly 44 years, K. Elaine (Myers) Heckman; his three children, Bradly, Christine, and Kimberly; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Heckman and wife, Carol. Family and friends will be received Friday, December 19, 2025, from 4 to 8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg. Services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11:00 am with Pastor Victor Koshir officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
