Larry Richard Eisenstatt

Larry Richard Eisenstatt, age 72 of Penn Township, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Larry was born in Jackson, Mississippi on March 15, 1954, to the late Phillip and Joann (Solomon) Eisenstatt. A proud graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, he went on to build a meaningful career as a nuclear materials engineer for Westinghouse. Larry was an active member of Congregation Emanu-El Israel. In his free time, he loved tending to his garden and writing science fiction stories.

Larry’s greatest legacy is his family. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 48 years, Elizabeth (Trotter) Eisenstatt; his children, Thomas (Rachel) Eisenstatt, Steven (Breanna) Eisenstatt, and Jessica Eisenstatt; and his adored grandchildren, Reagan, Taylor, Grant, Harrison, Lincoln, and Truman. He will also be deeply missed by his sister, Kay (Philip) Pollack; his brother, Jerry (Lynn) Eisenstatt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home (524 North Main Street, Greensburg), with a funeral service at 11:00 AM. To follow, Larry will be laid to rest at Temple Emanu-El Cemetery.
