Kenneth G. Lucas

February 13, 1944 — January 20, 2026

Kenneth G. Lucas, of Greensburg, passed away on January 20, 2026. He was born February 13, 1944, son of the late Charles and Ann Lucas.

Kenny, as he was known by his friends, grew up in Glassport, PA where he was quite an athlete taking after his older brothers Robert C. Lucas and Richie Lucas. He went on to play football at the University of Pittsburgh. Kenny loved telling stories about his football career and all of his teammates. After college Kenny married Susan S. Lucas of Cannonsburg, PA, having two sons, Eric C. Lucas (Susie) of Pittsburgh and David K. Lucas (Deirdre) of Greensburg. Kenny and Susan both enjoyed traveling, golf, skiing and spending time with their friends. They also enjoyed telling stories about the difficulties of raising two sons who would sometimes make parenting a challenge.

Kenny went on to become a sales representative for Karsten Manufacturing, a job that was custom-made for him; it allowed him to meet great friends, spend his days talking and playing golf. Kenny was a talker. Anybody that spent even a minimal amount of time around him would attest to that.

In addition to his love of golf and talking, Kenny adored and took great pride in his grandchildren Paige B. Settino (Mitchell) of Pittsburgh, Parker B. Lucas of Hoboken N.J, and Presley M. Lucas of Pittsburgh, as well as his great-granddaughter, Kennedy B. Settino, who brought an extra sparkle to his later years. If the grandchildren were participating in anything, he was present; baseball games, softball games, basketball games, volleyball games, tennis matches, golf tournaments, he was present.

In addition to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild, Kenny is survived by his brothers, Robert C. Lucas (Patricia) and Richard Lucas, along with his nieces and nephews: Karen Regan, Jill Lucas, Jeffery Lucas, and Paige Lucas.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thanks to all of Kenny’s friends. They have all been so supportive to us and such an incredible friend to Kenny. He thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of you.

Kenny will be remembered as a supportive husband, caring father, and a good friend. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 4 to 7 pm in the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. Funeral services for Kenny will be private. Interment will be made in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.

In lieu of flowers, Kenny would ask that you simply call an old friend.
