Kathleen Shepherd

Kathleen Rose Shepherd, 58, of Greensburg, died Saturday, December 15, 2018 at her home.  She was born on February 23, 1960, a daughter of Marlene J. Niehl Kuklewski and the late Albert A. Kuklewski.  She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg.  Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and traveling; especially to her vacation home in Myrtle Beach.  Her hobbies were astronomy, gardening, cooking/baking and birdwatching.  She also enjoyed being a hostess at family gatherings and events.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Timothy P.  “Tim” Shepherd; her sons, Colin Frank Shepherd and his fiancé, Tatiana Reed of San Diego and Patrick Niehl Shepherd of Arvada, CO; 2 sisters, Karen Kuklewski of Greenburg and Kimilly Potter (Jim) of Turtle Creek; 3 brothers, Kevin Kuklewski (Ginny) of Camden, NC, Kerry Kuklewski (Kim) of San Antonio, TX and Ken Kuklewski (Jean) of Greensburg; also, 5 nieces and 8 nephews.  A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday from 3 to 8 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.  Kathleen’s funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 1001 Mount Pleasant Road, Greensburg, PA.  Everyone is asked to go directly to the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the MS Society, Pennsylvania Keystone Chapter, 1501 Reedsdale Street, Suite 105, Pittsburgh, PA 15233 or to the Mario Lemieux Foundation, Two Chatham Center, Suite # 1661, 112 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.  For online condolences, please visit www.kepplegraft.com
