Kathleen A. “Cookie” Kantoris, 81, of Greensburg, died, Sunday, April 28, 2024. She was born on February 4, 1943, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Frank Morris and Catherine Barricela Morris. Kathleen was Catholic by faith and attended The Salvation Army. She donated many hours of her time to The Salvation Army where she taught Bible class and was involved in the Women’s League. Cookie enjoyed playing the lottery, listening to music and collecting eagles. Her door was always open to anyone and everyone as she never met a stranger. Cookie never missed a birthday and she sent a card to those she knew with a special note in her unique style of handwriting. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she was known for her extensive decorating. Cookie’s favorite saying was “Sweet Jesus”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Francine Chatham. Cookie is survived by her sons, Joe Kantoris (Jamie), Brian Kantoris (Denise), Scott Kantoris (Dawn) and Keith Kantoris. Her grandchildren, Allie, Hannah, Bryan and Krista Kantoris. 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Also, her dog, Mr. Biscuit. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. A memorial service for Kathleen will be held on Friday at 10 am in the funeral home with Major Jeny Shurtleff officiating.
