Kathleen Clark

Kathleen Marie Clark, 72 of New Stanton, passed away, Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

She was born July 6, 1949  in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Glenn Albert Hyde  and Mary Evelyn (Connelly) Hyde.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Howard Hyde, 63, and a sister, Marilyn Jean (Hyde) Vanistendael, 66. She is survived by an only son, J Michael Clark of Eastern PA. She attended Alpha Ministries of Greensburg and the Full Gospel Church for 20 years. The church was an integral part of her life.

She was an employee of Gabriel Brothers, Inc. of Greensburg and Lazarus. A 1991 Cum Laude graduate of California University of PA, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. She was published in various poetry anthologies and most frequently in LUCIDITY, a quarterly poetry journal from Eureka Springs, AK. Throughout her life she maintained a love for education, reading, intellectual self-improvement, keeping yearly journals and writing important thought. Her hobbies included collections of dolls, carousel horses, angels, and books. She also enjoyed crafts and painting.

Private interment will be in Dry Ridge Cemetery in Bedford County.
