John Nalevanko

John P. Nalevanko, 86, of South Greensburg, died, Tuesday, February 7, 2023.  He was born in Greensburg on August 21, 1936, a son of the late John and Rose Fair Nalevanko. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Greensburg. John was a Navy veteran. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a truck driver by Helms Trucking Company. John was gifted carpenter and built many things, including a boat and a cabin near McConnellsburg. He also built crafts, furniture and other goods that his wife painted and they sold at craft shows. Also, along with his wife, he raised four Afghan Hounds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Nalevanko; a son, Ronald Nalevanko; 2 nieces, Cindy Bell and Heidi Welsh.  John is survived by his sisters, Pauline Feltes and JoAnne Cook; 3 nieces, Donna Henderson, Tracy Cox and Bobbi Jo Farally (Tom); a nephew, David Pickett (Jodie); also, several great nieces and great nephews. As per family wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
