Joan Bender

Joan Bender, 73, of Delmont, PA, passed away on Feb. 21, 2022. She was born in Pittsburgh on July 10, 1948, a daughter of the late Elizabeth and Raymond Dilettuso. She was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville.  Joan loved spending time with her family, baking and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert Bender; brother, Ray Dilettuso Jr. of Cabot, PA; her children, Jason Bender and his wife, Carmella, of Columbia, MD and Janelle Irrgang and her husband, James Jr., of Chantilly, VA;  her three grandchildren, Isabella, James III and Elise. She will be missed by all. Family and friends will be received from 4pm to 7 pm, Thursday at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.  A funeral liturgy outside of Mass will be held at 10 am Friday in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
