Jennie Slivka

Jennie T. Slivka, 96, of Greensburg, died, Thursday, August 17, 2017 in Transitions Healthcare, North Huntingdon.  She was born in Pittsburgh on August 1, 1921, a daughter of the late George and Anastasia Raduik Fucich.  She was a member of St. Nicholas Parish, Millvale.  Prior to retirement, she was employed as a cook for St. Margaret’s Hospital, Aspinwall.  Jennie enjoyed cooking, baking and ceramics.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Slivka in 1986; siblings, Rocco and Tino Fucich, Josephine Churilla, Helen Klos, Judy Semega, Mary Ferderbar and Elizabeth Dunbar.  She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Butera and her husband Paul of Greensburg; granddaughters, Gina Hosack (John) and Christina Radomsky (Leon); great grandchildren, Hannah, Morgan, Kelsey Hosack, Jake and Kyra Radomsky; her sisters, Ann Mager and Georgette Miller.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 11am to 1:30pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg where Jennie’s funeral service will be held at 1:30pm.
