Jean was a 1954 graduate of Clay-Battelle High School in Blacksville, W.Va. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by six brothers, Joe, Harold, James, Bernard, Roger and Bob Bishop. She is survived by her husband of more than 63 years, Thomas Cowell; their two daughters, Donna Senft (Dan) and Sharon Kolson (John); three sisters-in-law, Betty, Almuth and Belinda Bishop; and several nieces and nephews. Jean had four grandchildren, Maureen Ward (Evan), Brian Senft, Andrew Kolson and Erica Kolson; and three great-grandsons, Micah, Peter and Timothy Ward, who always made her smile.
