Jane Schreckengost

Jane H. Schreckengost, 94, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2025.

She was born May 2, 1931, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late James B. Hurst and Daisy H. Rugh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis F. Hull; her second husband Paul A. Schreckengost; and a grandson.

Jane graduated from New Castle High School and Wilson College, Chambersburg, PA. As a teaching assistant for The Institute of International Education, she taught English for a year in Tulle, France. Taught at Norwin High School for 27 years and was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church.

She leaves behind a blended family of four children, nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received from 9:30 am until the hour of service at 10 am on Saturday, September 27th at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. Service will be officiated by Rev. Dr. Martin Ankrum.
