James Daniel Walsh II

March 11, 1952 — July 26, 2025

James Daniel Walsh II, 73 of Winter Springs, FL passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Legacy Point at UCF. He was born March 11, 1952 in McKeesport, PA, a son of the late James Daniel Walsh Sr. and Rose Victoria Kolano Walsh.

Prior to retirement from IT&T Financial, Jim worked as a college professor. He was an ardent advocate for his students, and generous, giving supporter of their needs. Jim had an undergraduate degree from Clarion State University, and attended graduate School at Pitt.

He was preceded in death by father, James Daniel Walsh, Sr., and mother, Rose Victoria Kolano Walsh.

Surviving are his siblings, David M. Walsh, Kathleen E. Tracy and Mark P. Walsh; and nine nieces and nephews, and many cousins, all loved by Jim. His deep love of sports, particularly of Pittsburgh teams, along with the Baltimore Orioles, where he resided for many years, was well known to all.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 9:30am at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main Street, Greensburg. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
