James H. “Jim” Myers, 81, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born in Youngwood on June 30, 1935, a son of the late James N. and Emma B. (Argie) Myers. He was a lifetime member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Greensburg, where he was a past Sunday school secretary and trustee and former member of the church’s choir and United Builders Sunday School Class. Prior to retirement, he was a self-employed contractor and he also worked for Raven Industries. He had served in the National Guard. Jim is survived by his wife of 37 years, Marsha Thomas Myers; his children, William Myers (Jennifer), Edward Myers, Sr. (Donna), Sharon Falk (David), Suzanne Grabosky (Michael) and Richard Myers (Tanya); his grandchildren, Rebecca Cooke (Samuel), Edward Myers, Jr. (Laura), Kevin Brooks, Christine Falk, Zachary Myers, Justin Falk and Noah Myers; 5 great grandchildren; his sister, Judy M. Wineman (Bill). Family and friends will be received from 6-8 PM Saturday, and from 11 AM to 1 PM and 4-6 PM Sunday at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. Jim’s funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Sung S. Chung officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
