Jacqueline Good

November 7, 1929 — February 12, 2018

Jacqueline “Jackie” Good, 88, of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, went to spend eternity with her savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 12, 2018. She had an unwavering faith in God and was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Greensburg. She was born November 7, 1929 in Jeannette, Pennsylvania to John and Elizabeth “Bessie” Waters. Jackie lived through the Great Depression, and gained an appreciation for small blessings by witnessing the hardships of her town. Jackie met the love of her life, Ray Good, when she was 22, and they were happily married for 49 years until his passing in 2003. She enjoyed spending time with friends and was famous for her cakes and cookies. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her three granddaughters. She would often travel to Texas for month-long visits to spend time with her “three angels.” Following her husband’s death, she relocated to Houston, where she was active with the West University Senior Center. She lived a full and rich life shared with all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, husband, Ray Wallace Good, and grandson Jeffrey Good. She is survived by her three children, Karen Good, Denny Good and wife Valerie , and Lori Good Johnson and husband Chip Johnson; grandchildren, John Good, Elise Johnson Swann and husband Evans Swann, Layne Johnson, and Julia Johnson; and great grandson, Rowe Swann.
