Harry J ANDREWS of Greensburg formerly of Pittsburgh passed away on Saturday June 6, 2009. He was the husband of Adaline (Connie) McConnell King Andrews and the late Loretta McKitrick Andrews. Father of Katherine Andrews Hungerman and her husband Martin, of Green Tree, Margaret Marquis Setler and her husband Charles of Export, and James F Andrews and his partner Ed Downs of Washington DC. Grandfather of Christopher Marquis and his wife Jean of Boston, MA and Greg Marquis of Denver, CO and two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Ava Marquis. Also survived by stepchildren Delee L King of Latrobe, and Patrick W King and wife Kathy of New Alexandria, step grandchildren Willie King and wife Genevieve and Tim King; step great-granddaughters Emily, Danielle and Lauren King. Mr. Andrews was born Sept. 2, 1911, the son of the late William Harry and Sarah (Butler) Andrews of the East End area of Pittsburgh. A sister, Mary Gladys Merritt of Corona, Ca, and two brothers, William P Andrews of Naples, FL and James B Andrews of Pittsburgh predeceased him. He was a member of the last class of boys to graduate from the former Sacred Heart High School (East End), attended Duquesne University, served in the US Navy during WWII from 1943 to 1946 and was a long time member and past president of American Legion Post 715. He was a Trust Officer at the former Mellon National Bank & Trust Co until his retirement in 1976. Mr. Andrews lived in Pittsburgh until the mid-1980s when he moved to New Alexandria. Since 1998 he and his wife have resided at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St. Greensburg. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral at 10:30 am with private entombment to be in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorial donations to the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main St. Greensburg, Pa. 15601
