Gloria L. Pinto

Gloria L. Pinto, 87 of Greensburg passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at Mt. View Senior Living, Greensburg.  Gloria was born October 20, 1936 in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Kensel Linn and Margaret (Linn) Zurosky.

Married to her beloved, late husband of 62 years, Sylvan M Pinto, Jr., Gloria was an exceptional homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  The holidays (particularly Christmas Eve) surrounded by her family were always so important to her.  Gloria loved to cook, decorate, and tend to her flower garden.  She was a fan of the Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers, as well as a faithful member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.  

Gloria is survived by her loving family including her three children, daughter Stacy Pinto Bourne (Les), Sylvan M. “Chip” Pinto, III (Diane) and Aimee Pinto Heasley (Daryl);  four grandchildren, Amanda Barbour (Tom), Sylvan M. “Sonny” Pinto, IV (Alexa), Bailey Miller (Alex) and Kethrie Linn Heasley; three great-grandchildren Lawson Pinto, Lena Miller and Hayes Pinto and several nieces and nephews; also, sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC.  524 N. Main St. Greensburg where Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9:30 am followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff at Mt. View Senior Living and Redstone Hospice for providing exceptional care to their mother and grandmother.   All of you went above and beyond in making Gloria comfortable and happy.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital @www.stjude.org.  Online condolences are welcome at www.kepplegraft.com  As Ammy always said, “I love you and be careful.”
