George J. Roth, 96, of Greensburg, died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at his home.  He was a son of the late Anna Petro Roth and George Roth, Sr.  Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a customer service order correspondent with Westinghouse Electric in East Pittsburgh for 43 years.  George was an Air Force Corps. veteran of World War II having served operations over Japanese Empire and Eastern Mandates with the 20th Air Force.  He was awarded the Victory Ribbon, American Defense Ribbon and the Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with 2 bronze stars.  He was a member of Maplewood Presbyterian Church of Greensburg and served as an elder in 1974.  He was a loyal and avid Steeler and Ohio State fan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Agnes Roth, Ann Farley and Tracey Cervi and a brother, John Roth.  He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lorraine K. Roth; a loving and devoted daughter, Judy Roth and her companion, Robert Walter of Greensburg; a stepson, Robert L. Haines (Kathy) of Latrobe; 3 grandchildren, Alicia Kauffman (Derek), Kortney and Justin Haines of Latrobe; numerous nieces and nephews; a sister in law Kathy Roth of Greensburg and a brother in law James Kinneer and wife Ruth Ann of Golden Colorado; also, many dear and faithful friends.  As per George’s wishes, there will be no public viewing and private interment will be held at St. Clair Cemetery.  A memorial service for George will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in the Maplewood United Presbyterian Church, 108 Woodland Road, Greensburg, PA 15601 with Rev.
