Elizabeth A. (Liz, Cook or Cookie) Baldwin, 77, of South Greensburg, died, Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in Westmoreland Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Greensburg on September 29, 1945, a daughter of the late William L. and Elizabeth Miller Atkinson. Liz attended Word of Life Church. She enjoyed reading, playing games on the computer, building puzzles and her weekly card club. Liz was quick witted and had a great sense of humor. People will recall her from over 40 years working at Eat “n Park.   During these years, Liz performed in every capacity Eat n Park required.  Though she retired from hostessing, her favorite was waitressing.  Liz was once quoted in the Eat ‘N Park newsletter summarizing her years by saying, “It was a lot of fun, and games too!” In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great niece, Sarah McDonald. She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Smith and Margie Sides; nieces, Kimberly Zimmerman (Ken) and Holly Hayford; nephew, Danny McDonald (Sheri); her good friend, Eric Noel; also, many other friends, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service for Liz will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.
