Elio "Al" Leo Coletti passed away on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025, at his home in Redmont Village, Greensburg, surrounded by his family. Elio was born on Dec. 12, 1932, in Jacobs Creek, to John and Jennie Coletti. Surviving is his wife of 65 years, Sally (Kott) Coletti. Along with his wife, Elio is survived by his four children: Camille (Robert) Zagar of Irwin, PA, Jennifer Anto (Rod Hershberger) of Pittsburgh, PA, John (Jean) Coletti of Durham, NC, and Sara (Raymond) Paronish of Greensburg, PA. Elio was extremely proud of his grandchildren: Elisabeth (Gavin) Donathan, Stephanie and Katherine Zagar, Vincent (Anna) Anto, Jessica (Ryan) Kanner, Maria and Olivia Anto, Anna and Isabel Coletti, and Salena and Julianna Paronish. Elio was blessed with two great-grandsons this year: Elio Anto and Graham Donathan. Surviving siblings include Eleanor Hensly of Madera, CA, Jennie Kirkpatrick, Frances (Dave) Nicolaus and Angeline Siple, all of Indiana. Elio was a Korean War veteran, a retired Teamster truck driver, and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and Sportsmen's Club in West Newton. Elio was a gentleman farmer and enjoyed gardening and keeping horses at his country home in West Newton for over 60 years. No services will be held at Elio's request. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the following charities that support the care of aging horses: Pleasant Valley Rescue Ranch of Murrysville or Heal Animal Rescue of Latrobe. The family wishes to express their gratitude to UPMC Mercy Rehabilitation and Redstone Hospice for their care of Elio.
