Eleanor Roehrig

Eleanor M. "Ellie" Roehrig, 90, of South Greensburg, died Saturday April 11, 2015 in Easy Living Country Estates, Hunker. She was born in Pittsburgh on August 28, 1924, a daughter of the late Nora Baker and Joseph H. Roehrig. During WWII, she was employed by Walworth Company of South Greensburg. After 35 years of service, she retired as a business office manager for Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Joseph A., Edward and Charles Roehrig; a sister Marygale Roehrig. She is survived by 3 sisters, June Jones (William) of New Stanton, Lorain Roehrig Ghrist (Raymond) and Deanna Roehrig, both of Greensburg; a brother, Thomas Roehrig of Birmingham, AL; also, several nieces and nephews. Following Eleanor's request, there will be no visitation. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 am at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. Interment will be private. Should friends desire, memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
