Donna M. Hornin

Donna M. Hornin, 89 of Greensburg passed away, Thursday, June 11, 2026. She was born August 26, 1936 in Duquesne a daughter of the late John and Audrey (Campbell) Mehrmann.

Donna was a devoted homemaker and early in life worked as an executive secretary at Investmart. She was Lutheran by faith and had a keen interest in genealogy and history. She was a talented gardener and a talented crafter working at sewing, needle craft, jewelry making and embroidery having been awarded several blue ribbons for her skills. A talented cook, Donna was always looking for new recipes, searching through and notating in cook books and had her own recipe filing system.

She is survived by her three children, Kimberly Suzanne Hornin, Keith Robert Hornin and Ernest Evans, Sr; her grandsons, Jacob M. Hornin and Jonathan M. Spicer (Haley); two brothers, Quentin Mehrmann (Barbara) and Craig Mehrmann and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward Hornin on Feb. 26, 2026; a sister, Ida Mehrmann and brothers, Dennis, Jack and John, Jr. “Skits” Mehrmann.

Family and friends will be received on Wed. June 16, 2026 from 4 to 7 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N Main St. Greensburg where her funeral service will be held on Thur.
