Dolores Reese

Our beloved mother, Dolores Jane Reese, passed away on September 9, 2018 surrounded by family.

She was 83 years old and born in Hecla, PA.

Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, George and Sophie Mamula; her parents, Ann and Emil Kasparek, and her loving husband, Robert C. Reese, who died on April 18, 1979.
She is survived by four sons, Randy Reese (Christine), Robert Reese (Colleen), William Reese (Karen), and George Reese (Terri); a daughter, Roberta Reese Grubbs (Ken); grandchildren, Kara Hornyak (Jerry), Michael Reese (Angela), David Reese (Amanda), Brandon Reese (Erica), Christopher Reese, Eric Reese (Kristin), Brandon Reese (Anita), Nicholas Allen, Mallory Reese (Darren), Cole Reese, Robert Reese, Taylor Reese, Rachel Reese, Mandi Reese, and Sara Romano; and eleven great grandchildren.

Dolores had a wonderful passion and talent for cooking and earned her culinary certificate at age 54. She took great pride in being a cook and loved working with the Sisters of Charity at Seton Hill and later at Hopehill Nursing Home.  She was known for cooking her big meals for our family, especially on holidays.  Mom's greatest joy was her family

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg.

Services will be held on Thursday at 11am in Trinity United Methodist Church 210 W. 4th Street, Greensburg, PA 15601. Please, everyone go directly to the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carbon Fire Department 421 Juniper Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, Trinity United Methodist Church, at the above address or the Greensburg-Hempfield Area Library 237 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Greensburg, PA 15601.
